An independent healthcare industry group announces the chance to win a $50 Amazon Gift card, just by participating in a survey on sterile packaging.
The Kilmer Innovations in Packaging (KIIP) group is made up of people passionate about sterile packaging and its role in the delivery of sterile, safe to use medical devices. KIIP is made up of members of AAMI, AHRMM, AORN, APIC and IAHCSMM and other professional organizations and includes packaging engineers, sterility assurance professionals, medical device designers, quality management professionals, regulatory affairs professionals and healthcare professionals!
The mission of KIIP is to help improve the delivery of patient care by improving sterile packaging. To achieve that goal, the KIIP team has put together a survey inviting healthcare professionals that interact with sterile medical devices to provide their feedback on sterile medical device packaging. This includes sterile processing professionals, operating room staff, materials management and logistics professionals, doctors, nurses, technicians and other healthcare professionals whose professional duties involve interaction with items that are delivered sterile to the point of use. The information provided by the survey will be used to better understand the needs of healthcare professionals regarding sterile packaging and products – which will potentially lead to improved sterile medical device packaging designs.
